Russ Miller 5K 2013
The annual Russ Miller Memorial 5K Run serves to honor the memory of fallen Chino Police Officer Russ Miller who was killed in the line of duty by a drunk driver in 2000.

Kids and Cops Shop 2012
The Chino Police Officers Association is a proud supporter of the annual Kids and Cops Shop event which is hosted by Target. This event sponsors 10 families from the Chino community by providing them with gift cards to spend while they shop with police personnel.

Hope, Love and Charity 2012
The annual Hope, Love and Charity event provides holiday meals, food boxes and toys to over 2,000 each year. Association members volunteer to serve food and hand out toys.

Kids, Cops and Santa 2012
In 2012 the Kids, Cops and Santa sleigh underwent a makeover. The remodeled sleigh went out into the community to spread holiday cheer on various December nights.

Special Olympics Torch Run 2012
The CPOA has been a longtime supporter of the Special Olympics through various fundraisers and events. Officers volunteer to participate in this annual law enforcement torch run which serves to increase awareness and raise funds for the Special Olympics movement.

Run For Russ 5K 2012
The 12th annual Russ Miller 5K was held on February 4, 2012. This event honors Officer Russ Miller who was killed in the line of duty by a drunk driver in February of 2000. Thank you to all of the participants, sponors and volunteers for their support and for helping to make this our most successful event to date.

Anaheim Police Officers Association BBQ for Jose Verduzco
On August 30, 2011 the Anaheim Police Officer Association held a BBQ and Silent Auction fundrasier to raise money for the Verduzco family. The CPOA would like to thank Anaheim PD for their support.

Jose Verduzco Swearing In Ceremony
Jose Verduzco is 7-years old and suffers from a malignant brain tumor that recently ruptured. In the past several months, Jose and his family have come to know many members of the Chino Police Department. During this time, Jose expressed his long time desire to become a police officer. Members of the Chino Police Officers Association, in an effort to fulfill Jose's dream, arranged to have Jose sworn in as an honorary Police Officer on Thursday, August 11th, 2011. Following his "swearing in” , Jose responded on his first “call for service." With the assistance of the Ontario Police Department’s Airship, Jose was able to fulfill another dream; to fly in a helicopter.
